Brianna Johnson is an Amazon best selling author located right in Fountain Inn SC. She has spent most of her life in Fountain Inn and enjoys the local support from the small town. For over six years now she has written six books, produced a movie based on one of her books, and teaches classes to help other local authors publish their books. Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have three beautiful children and a supportive fiancé.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I love writing, advertising, and just helping others get their books out there. Everyone has a story to tell and I’m honored to help them any way I can.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I love El Patron and Wing Nutz in Fountain Inn.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived in Fountain Inn for over 25 years.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
I’m not sure I can pick just one person. I’ve met many amazing and beautiful people in Fountain Inn, each unique in their own ways.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Traveling is always on a bucket list for so many but for me I just want to kayak and fish all the local and beautiful spaces SC has to offer.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Perspective is something I think the world needs more of now a days. Always try to see things from other view points and help others any way you can. You never know when you will need someone else’s kindness.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I wouldn’t say I am a thrill seeker but I love excitement. Jumping out of a plane is on my to do list.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
There are many businesses that catch my nostalgic energy. The biggest ones are the library, the Younts Center of Performing Arts, and Steam Coffee and Cream
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
This might be far fetched… or even selfish. I’d like to see myself ,five years in the future, to help guide me on my own path.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Fountain Inn is not just any town. The people here are special and creative. The town might be small but there is many people here who can and will impact the world.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In five to ten years I hope to be running a bookstore and making more movies from my books.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
As optimistic as most see me… I too have my lows and don’t show it easily.
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
My birth place will always have a special place in my heart. There is just something about the Virginia mountains that takes my breath away.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
Of course my children push me to always be better and I want to show them how it is possible to do what you love.
Q: Describe what “neighbor” means to you?
Neighbor is a special word, especially in Fountain Inn. Neighbors are the people who help when you have a flat tire, or need a shoulder, or any advice. Here, Neighbors are like family.
Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
