Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have worked for the American Heart Association as their Youth Market Director in Charlotte NC. My current role is as the Agency Manager for the Cornell Sweeney Allstate Agency. What I love most about what I do is taking great care of my customers needs. My dad built this business from the ground up so every customer that we touch is part of the family.

Coach House, Pete’s, Spice Diner, First Watch, Henry’s Smokehouse, and Shortfield’s

I have lived in Simpsonville since 1990 and I started working at the agency right after college in 2007.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Lewis Stewart, may he rest in peace. Lewis was a man that would put a smile on your face every time you came in contact with him. He loved the Lord and people, and it showed in every interaction.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Three Generations. This store has been apart of our community for over 37 years. I grew up with my mom shopping there, and now I do. When you step into the shop its not all about the clothes and accessories, its about how Janice, Lisa and Sherry make you feel as a person. They care about you.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Tyler Perry. As a teenager I wanted to become an actress. So I would love to just talk with him about the industry and see if that childhood dream could become a reality. We would meet at my house. My husband is a great cook. I want him to feel at home.

I love walking Main Street Simpsonville and talking with all of the business owners. I joke all the time about this being our very own Mayberry.

Loving my life here in the Golden Strip, and being the best wife, mom, daughter and friend that I can be.

At times I transform into a spunky 80 year old woman named Ms. Lilly Mae Fryer.
