I am owner/maker of Slay the Clay polymer clay earrings. I absolutely love fun earrings so why not make them?! My daughter Madison started Slay the Clay in 2020 which started out as a fun craft/hobby. She grew the business well for about a year. I saw potential in the business that she didn’t have time for anymore. I bought the business from her in June of 2021. I have always said she did the hard part. This business is a blessing to me. When my daughters were teenagers, I began to pray for a creative outlet or something to fill my time. My girls were growing up and I had a hard time accepting not having them with me all the time. Let’s be real, that’s a difficult time for mothers! I thank Jesus often and find myself emotional seeing how God works. This business is a part time side hustle for me but one that I truly enjoy. I have met a lot of amazing people; customers, other vendors and other clay makers. To see customer’s ecstatic excitement over my earrings brings me so much joy!
Slay the Clay earrings are super lightweight but fun, bold and not something you’ll find in a store. I strive to create the best, however please understand they’re not made in a factory, so you’ll find a few flaws. I like to create a variety of sizes which vary from small studs to large dangles and clip ons as requested. I accept custom orders as well.
