Hello, My Name is Poppy and I am a 12 year old Fashion Designer, actress and student . I am the youngest fashion designer in the Greenville Fashion show for 5 years now. I have 7 full fashion collections and I show them in fashion events all over the southeast. I learned how to sew while living in Munich Germany at the age of 4 and have sold my designs in Europe and in the US. Since moving back to the US I have continued to sew and learn new things. I even teach a summer sewing camp for 4 years running. My Mimi really was the inspiration for my sewing journey and coined the name of our business Poppy’s Garden Designs. She makes and sell beautiful jewelry and just recently moved into the Golden Strip area.

You might have seen me in a few Nickelodeon programs. One most recently called Young Dylan where I play a character named Lisa in season 4. While that show was comedy I am usually the “ Scream Queen” in horror genre films and made my horror debut with actress Dee Wallace and Deborah Vorhees in the troller 13 FANBOY.

When I’m not on a movie set or in the design room you’ll find me at the motocross track. See my whole family rides motorbikes. I especially love single track trail riding. I ride a YZ85 which is super fast.

Q: Tell us about yourself, including a little bit about where you grew up, your education, your family, interests, passions, and career?
I was born in Munich Germany on a very snowy February day. My parents were Expats on assignment so my mom got to experience having a baby abroad. I loved everything about Munich. The Flo markets and festivals, especially Oktoberfest. My mother had this beautiful Bike that had a big wooden basket on the front. She built a sun shade for it and would place my brother and  me in it and ride it all over the city. Sometimes we would ride down to the Isra River with a basket full of radishes and fresh baked pretzels and watch the suckers catch some waves. My favorite spot in Munich was in the Englicher Garden where my family would post up and fly kites and throw the football. My mother used to take me to the Flo- market which was an out door sellers market where people would sell old stuff and handmade goods. We were always on the hunt for unique fabric and the stackable dolls called Matrushka dolls. On long holiday weekends we would venture off into the alps where we would hike in the summers or ski in the winter. My favorite place in Europe in general has to be Bellagio Italy. We would drive down from Munich Into the Swiss alps and through a little country called Lichtenstein. It was lovely. One of my fondest memories though was ice skating on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris
