Hi. I am Santa Claus. I am Blessed to be able to bring a little joy and happiness to children of all ages during the Christmas season. Christmas is a Spirit, Santa Claus is a Spirit. Make no mistake, I exist. There are many believers and those that choose to believe share the joy and happiness of the season and are more pleasant because of that. The Christmas Spirit and so the Spirit of Santa Claus cost nothing, and yet is priceless. I ask for nothing and give freely. I do not promise anything, but if you accept what I offer you will be rewarded endlessly. I truly pray that you choose to join me in this Spirit.  Follow me on Facebook by clicking BEST Santa Clause EVER.

Q: Tell us about yourself, including a little bit about where you grew up, your education, your family, interests, passions, and career?
I have been around the world, raised in the Great White North with stops in all corners of the earth. I have a vast education, highlighted by my time at the Northern Lights Academy.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in The Golden Strip?
A yearly visitor and occasional seasonal employee in the Golden Strip for Ages, I have spent more and more time here in the past 4 or so years, mainly for the climate.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
Although most folks don’t notice, I am ageless. Kind of hard to explain in a few words……

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in The Golden Strip?
So many to choose from it is hard to pick just one. The Grinch has actually relocated to the area. Ellie has to be the one. She doesn’t know it yet, but she is going to be an Elf very soon.

Q: What current / former local business makes you the most nostalgic about The Golden Strip?
Two non-profits that I absolutely love here: “Loaves and Fishes” and “The LEO Santa Toy Drive”. Both of these groups carry my spirit and the Christmas spirit all year long!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about The Golden Strip?
The reason I spend most of my time here: I have “My Space” for privacy of my workshop, yet convenient to everything I need!

Q: With so much growth in our area, there are always new places popping up. Tell us about the a “new to you” place that you recently tried.
I am very excited about the rooftop dining at the Slice in Simpsonville! Great people, awesome food, and a super convenient location. Plenty of room to park my sleigh too….

Q: What 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME or NEIGHBOR?
Peaceful, Joyful, and Blessed by Good Folks.

Q: If you had friends or family visiting you from out of town, what is the one place that you must take them to?
So many to choose from…..Falls Park and a little road trip to the Pretty Place are high on this list.

Q: If you had a free day with no plans, what would you do? Or where can we find you on the weekends?
Santa stays busy. If not making toys or checking lists, I can often be found at a Swamp Rabbits hockey game or at Flour Field taking in the league champion Greenville Drive. Tooling around on a motorcycle ride is enjoyable. It’s the closest thing I can do to reindeer games in the “off-season”

Q: If you were cast into a major motion picture and had your choice of anyone to be your co-star, who would you choose?
No question about it: MRS. CLAUS!

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
As busy as I usually am, I always have to get a stunt double to be in the Macy’s Parade. One year, I am going to do that myself.

Q: What advice would you give to a crowd of people?
Be Kind To Each Other.

Q: Who would you like to see nominated for this project, The Faces of The Golden Strip?
Mike Wible
