I’m a visionary and faith-walking entrepreneur to my core. I believe there is greatness within you and me!

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I’m a wife, mother of five, grandmother, friend, and auntie.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I’ve been in the beauty industry for over thirty years, and I’ve owned/operated five successful salons and studios! One of the privileges I’ve had, is to mentor others in businesses and seeing the sparkling in some eyes as they manifest their dreams.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Four years

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Dr. Stratton

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Ghana, I would love to understand the culture of its people!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Believe in yourself and the goodness of others; by allowing them to prove otherwise!

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Jumping out of an airplane.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Of course the Ice Cream Shop watching the train

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Oprah Winfrey, lunch at Stella’s restaurant!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The ice cream shop on Main Street!

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Building commercial buildings for entrepreneurs.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I love to receive flowers.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
I’ve been to West Virginia, the mountains.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
The Holy Spirit, family, and friends!
