I’m a small business owner, baker, and teacher, among other roles, and I’ve lived in the Upstate most of my adult life. I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and extended family and friends. I especially enjoy our adventures on the water and in the mountains.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I was a full time math teacher for many years, but I now teach part-time and focus more on my baking business, Baking Sweet Scents. I love to bake and pray for people, and I enjoy creating treats for people to enjoy.

Coach House, Shortfields, and Henry’s are a few of my favorite Simpsonville restaurants.

Rome…to see and experience the beauty and history of it.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

I love that our community has a small town feel and embraces small businesses.
