Q: Tell us about yourself, including a little bit about where you grew up, your education, your family, interests, passions, and career?
I grew up in Columbia, SC and moved to the Greenville area after graduating Lander College with a BS in Psychology in 1988. I also have an AD in Paralegal Studies along with numerous fitness and nutrition certifications. I have been married to my husband Doug for 32 years, we have two children, Zack is 29 and Kelsie who lives in heaven, forever 23. I have been passionate about health and fitness since a very early age. My other passions include mental health advocacy and my nonprofit, Kelsie’s Cause, created in honor of my daughter who was poisoned by fentanyl in 2022 in the form of a fake Xanax. I am on a mission to save other families from this evil of fentanyl, this pain and heartbreak, by sharing all information on fentanyl poisoning that is available to me, via billboards, rallies, fundraisers, TV interviews, podcasts and social media.
