Simpsonville has been my home for the past 25 years after moving here after college. I married my husband Charlie after graduating college and we have two amazing boys, Owen and Parker. Our golden doodle, Ollie, completed our family 4 years ago. I graduated from Western Carolina University “WCU” with a degree in Marketing and started my career at BB&T and then went to work for E&J Gallo Winery. Pink Owl Boutique was opened back in 2014 out of my house. I started the store doing shopping parties at friends homes. Pink Owl Boutique’s store front was opened in 2016 with 2 friends, Vicki Brown and Kelly Ooten. We have loved being in downtown Simpsonville and watching it grow. Owning Pink Owl Boutique has been a dream come true for me!
Q: Tell us about yourself, including a little bit about where you grew up, your education, your family, interests, passions, and career?
I grew up in a small town in North Carolina and moved to Simpsonville after graduating college. When I am not working at the store you will find me spending time with family and friends, at travel baseball games, reading or shopping.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in The Golden Strip?
I have lived in Simpsonville for the past 25 years and opened my business in 2014.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in The Golden Strip?
No one really stands out but I have met some of the nicest people working at the store. I love talking to people and finding out what brought them into the store and where they are from.
Q: What current / former local business makes you the most nostalgic about The Golden Strip?
None that I can think of.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about The Golden Strip?
I love that the town is growing but still has a small town feel to it. The people are so nice and supportive in Simpsonville.
Q: With so much growth in our area, there are always new places popping up. Tell us about the a “new to you” place that you recently tried.
I love The Slice pizza and pasta. Love the rooftop area that they just added.
Q: What 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME or NEIGHBOR?
Happy, family, and fun.
Q: If you had friends or family visiting you from out of town, what is the one place that you must take them to?
Vaughn’s. The atmosphere is so fun. Love music bingo and live music outside on the weekends.
Q: If you had a free day with no plans, what would you do? Or where can we find you on the weekends?
If I had a free day with no plans I would love to be at the beach but you more than likely will find me at the baseball field watching my son play baseball.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Travel to Italy.
