I was born in Tennessee, but raised in Easley South Carolina. I now live in Simpsonville and own Marla Rogers State Farm in Greenville! When I’m not working you can find me at TJ Maxx, doing a DIY project at home, or hanging with friends and family!
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am married to my husband Tyler for almost 6 years and we just welcomed our first child, Oaklan Iris, who is the light of my life! We have 3 cats and an Australian shepherd who are basically our children as well!
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I love so many things about my job! I love that I get to serve and help people in my community, coaching and investing in my team, building relationships and getting to know people in our community, and having the opportunity for supporting local charities. My job also provides stability and flexibility for my family as well as an avenue to live out my purpose.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
We are creatures of habit so our main restaurants we love and eat at the most are Sabrosa, Grimaldi’s, Saffron, Trappe Door, Smoke on the Water, Caesars Mediterranean Grill, and Sobys! ,
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I moved to Greenville in 2014 and started my agency in Greenville in 2018!
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Greece! It’s absolutely gorgeous and I have always wanted to go!
Q: What advice would you give to people?
You either win or you learn!
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Skydiving!
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Denzel Washington! I’d treat him to lunch at Smoke on the Water and soak up all the advice and lessons I can!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love that it feels like a small world in a “big” city!
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5-10 years I see my husband and I having 1 or 2 more kids, we will hopefully live on some land in a house with a wrap around porch, and we will be surrounded by a community of people we love!

Montana!
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My husband, Tyler. He is always encouraging me, challenging me, and supporting me to better myself each day.
Q: Describe what “neighbor” means to you?
Being a neighbor means loving, caring, and serving those around you even if it means having a tough conversation, inconveniencing yourself, or not getting anything in return.
