Q: Tell us about yourself, including a little bit about where you grew up, your education, your family, interests, passions, and career?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Public Health specializing in Health Education, and Behavioral Science from Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey. I live in Taylors, SC with my husband Christos, and our two dogs, Hercules and Artemis but grew up in Hopatcong, New Jersey. I enjoy learning new things, traveling, hiking, and volunteering at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral where I teach Sunday School and Greek Dance. You’ll find me spending time with family or friends, listening to a podcast or audiobook, or trying a new recipe.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in The Golden Strip?
We have been serving clients in the Golden Strip for three years now!

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I have completed the first part of the Foothills trail, 28.3 miles, for Make-A-Wish SC two times! I have also been practicing and studying martial arts at Donjitsu Do Dojo for three years now.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in The Golden Strip?
The most interesting person I’ve met in the Golden Strip is Dannielle Pearson. She is a caring and awesome person, has three poodles, and is an excellent connecter that has hosted networking events across Greenville. She also founded the Simpsonville Chapter of Greenville Networking Group!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about The Golden Strip?
My favorite thing about the Golden Strip is a tie between both “stations”! I love the European feel of the open-air restaurants and shops at Bridgeway Station and the delicious ice cream at The Ice Cream Station.

Q: With so much growth in our area, there are always new places popping up. Tell us about the a “new to you” place that you recently tried.
I recently got pumpkins at The Golden Strip Pumpkin Patch, whose mission is supporting local non-profits that directly impact our community, and it was lovely. The selection was great, the pottery made by their Pottery Project was adorable and I really had to restrain myself from buying all of the mushrooms, pumpkins and Christmas trees.

Q: What 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME or NEIGHBOR?
Peaceful dwelling, community, love

Q: If you had a free day with no plans, what would you do? Or where can we find you on the weekends?
I would probably work from Bridgeway Station, or explore a new to me area like Fountain Inn.

Q: If you were cast into a major motion picture and had your choice of anyone to be your co-star, who would you choose?
I would choose my business partner, Kristina Harris who is an amazing actress, hilarious and the star of our partnership.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I’ve always dreamt of writing a book and have started writing two casually.

Q: What advice would you give to a crowd of people?
Put God first and everything else in your life will fall into place better than you could ever imagine.

Q: Who would you like to see nominated for this project, The Faces of The Golden Strip?
Dannielle Pearson, Maggie Buchanan, Christina Marie AKA Doizer, Crystal Smith, Ashlyn Rourk-Stallings, Patrick Storey, Justin Chastain, Gina Stanfield Karwatka, Briana Plyler, Braxton Plyler, Austin Yancey
